Unfortunately even the breeding programmers think it is ok to kill a giraffe because it doesn't have the correct genes.
Jeepers you are naive.

Why would you be astonished that a breeding programmer or geneticist would be keen to destroy an animal that yielded poor genetic distribution.

Genetic diversity is essential for the survival of any species and is especially relevant to caged animals.

Breathtaking ignorance. Typical clueless animal hugger. Keen to sympathise from an armchair whilst munching on a juicy burger.

Nosenowt, you didn't answer my question. Why do you show no compassion towards animals?

So what if the animals genes are wrong. If it is neutered it can just live it's life without any breeding. A few zoos here offered to take it so they obviously agree. The trouble is that the breeding programmes cannot keep up with mans desire to kill everything, just so that people like you can show off their new leopard skin underwear.

I have a 'practical' interest in animals.

I admire working dogs.

I admire wild animals but have no wish to get up close and personel with them.

I do however have a huge disdain for interfering idiot animal huggers who are clueless about the true welfare of animals.

If a horse gets put down in a race meeting I will not weep, no. That horse will have been well fed and well groomed and will have been bred to race.

Nor will I weep if a pit bull terrier is shot to death for maiming or killing human beings. Again this type of anilmal has been bred for its aggressive nature and belongs in a cage.

I think Lions and Tigers are stunning creatures.

I don't like zoos.

I love chickens, ducks, cows, pigs, sheep and deer bcause I eat them and they are tasty. I don't want to get up close and peronel with these animals either.

I have little interest in game though I gladly accept a nice cut of venisson when offered by my hunting friend.

I think animal cruelty is abhorrant though I do accept that dogs require strict training that is not always pain free. There is no substitute for pain and hunger when gaining a working dogs obedience.

I admire some working dogs but not those that are trained to rip other animals apart

I admire wild animals but have no wish to get up close and personel with them.

I agree- leave them alone

I do however have a huge disdain for interfering idiot animal huggers who are clueless about the true welfare of animals.

Can't see how killing a giraffe and feeding it to the lions is classed as welfare.

The horse has no choice

Nor will I weep if a pit bull terrier is shot to death for maiming or killing human beings. Again this type of anilmal has been bred for its aggressive nature and belongs in a cage.

I agree, but not that all pit bull terriers have to be put down

I think Lions and Tigers are stunning creatures.

Agree but numbers are dwindling due to man

I don't like zoos.

Me neither

I love chickens, ducks, cows, pigs, sheep and deer bcause I eat them and they are tasty. I don't want to get up close and peronel with these animals either.

Agree

Dogs need training for their own benefit but pain is not necessary.
