i see nothing wrong in propping up the units using scraps of timber off of the adjustable feet,especially if the floor is way out.

but using 'CARBOARD' thats a new 1.

and the fine finishing work,SUPERB

and as the excuse they have come out with,totally disgusting,i hope this gets them loads of bad publicity.

The price's B&Q charge are ridiculous too. I wired a kitchen last year, and the kitchen fitter showed me the prices for:

Connecting the dishwasher (plugging it in)
Wiring the extractor fan
Connecting the hob & oven.

Total of £400.

The customer was going to pay it until I advised him otherwise....

someone i know moved out of a flat and received a bill for 'removing electricity supply from loft' because of H&S. £400 was the amount he was being chased for, best thing was he had left an extension lead in the loft that was plugged in at the top of the stairs.
