NOPE, WRONG what the politically correct folks demanded was precision bombing and shooting which puts the troops at a higher risk
Germany used the Buzz bombs and bombers to level London and other parts of the globe then after softening the target the troops could enter with less resistance.
Bombing Japan for example saved countless of lives on both sides rather then try an invasion like Normandy.
NBC warfare is the way to go but seems its not cricket to use Nuclear, biological or Chemical warfare.
The use of submarines for the longest time was considered dirty fighting as the German wolf packs did an outstanding job sinking the fleets and the news papers called them cowards UNTIL other countries found the technology to also utilize this highly effective type of warfare.
The Japanese Kamikaze pilots were true warriors and did more damage to the US Fleets then any U boats, but it does take a really dedicated soldier / pilot to fight to the last man
The greatest army the world would have known is the one that had German Generals such as Rommel and Japanese soldiers here you have an invincible army as they would never allow themselves to be prisoners of a Baton death march

Opec are slashing oil production in a bid to force up prices, that means higher prices here, no question of a shortage of oil just greedy Arabs wanting more money. So much for the free market then, years ago we would have sent over a gunboat and beat them up for trying to rip us off,now we just pay up.

There are NOT greedy, they are business people and by cutting supplies drastically they are saving the earth from air pollution and global warming.
If you were the only plumber /gas fitter for 500 miles would you keep your prices low of actually charge for your worth.
America has plenty of Gas / Oil /coal and forests BUT it is cheaper to import then to try to find someone willing to work as when a bloke works hard the "Spread the wealth" philosophy taxes the working man so it is cheaper for them to stay home and let the governments feed them as they import all kinds of products.
HOPEFULLY one day we can import wind power and geothermal also
When we buy oil 60% of it is tax, it's the government robbing us not the Arabs.

The governments have to tax the hell out of fuel so they can hire more police to issue you more tickets ...
If there was no civil servants jobs these folks would be on welfare someone has to support them.. spread the wealth

Well if the world is a mess I strongly suggest you take your family and yourself and drive as fast as possible into the side of a mountain thus avoid your female members being taken captive and Jesus knows what they may be subjected to
Take yourself out of the gene pool mate and If you hang around your going to see the world implode ( hopefuly) with massive nukes exploding all over the globe and then the cocker roaches will inherit the earth and start all over.
WAR is going to happen with in the next 10 years and most contries will suffer from extreamists within THUS I strongly suggest you place your head between your legs, say your prayers and
