Can any one give me any information about a 10 year old Paxton door entry system. First question, the 12 Volt lead Acid battery, I assumed was to keep the system running or open the latch in the event of power failure. I am told not, but not what it is for.
next question, the internal 12 Volt Power supplies fail fairly often, is it possible the 12 V Lead Acid Batteries, are causing this issue, they are all between 3 and 5 years old with no record of replacement Date, but all read just over 12 volts with no load.
And the last question, on replacing a defective latch, I am told their is some voltage adjustments on the Control PCB to do, but not what they are.
Any info would be much appreciated.
