Bodd
Does anyone know if this is worth anything. Its in great order.
Judging by the brick wall and what appears to be a concrete floor it looks as though it may be in a garage.
You need to get it indoors asap but not in a hot, dry environment. Get a professional tuner to look it over and give a price for tuning.
In the meantime, look inside to see if there are any distinguishing marks of plates stating when/where/who built it etc You may find something under the keyboard area if you get on your hands and knees. Research on the internet the manufacturers name and history etc. Google auctioneers who may have sold similar items at any time.
Just read, most pianos have a 4, 5, or 6 digit number. With this number and the name of the manufacturer you should be able to trace how old it is etc.
Is it Mrs Bod naked?
No I'm keeping them to myself until I get short of cash.
"...Dad, do you know the piano is on my foot?"I used to work for a removal company looking after their lorries. Pianos were ten a penny and were often given away. The cost of moving and retuning them often outweighed their worth.
Personally I find monkey's playing humans offensive and unnecessary in these covid brexit recession hit days.....
