Surely you are aware that UK slaughterhouse rules have permitted religious ritual slaughter from the earliest days? It was originally to permit Jewish rules, and predates the existence of the EU. As you know, Jewish ritual slaughter insists that the animals are not stunned. Halal slaughter doesn't.
But perhaps you only hate Muslims so the facts are inconvenient to you.
Don't care who practices it . Ban it irrespective of what religion they are

This makes no sense, when Halal slaughter goes on in the UK. We can of course ban it if we want to, even when in the EU.of course u are the person who supports the export of live animals to the EU so as they can be exported for religious slaughter
But it could be going for export for Halal slughter. Just not part of Belgium:

This suggests she trusted him before, which doesn't reflect well on her.

The measure of a civilised country (imo) is the type of animal cruelty laws they have , if any at all ?

It is reckoned that draining the blood of an animal is a healthier way to eat it, but obviously it won't drain properly if the hearts not beating. Now Islam allows stunning of the animal, but Jewish practice doesn't.
This is where religious practice trumps animal welfare, as the law makers are afraid of being accused of religious persecution, and those religions will always cream persecution if they can't do things the way they want to.
