Power steering fluid change - 2007 KA

There is the possibility that the fluid has been changed before and the wrong spec fluid (too thin) was put in!

90k+ miles on the clock!

As a general rule I use Dexron 3 fluid, unless it's for the original Citroens that use the mineral LHM.
I've never come across replacing the PAS fluid as a service requirement - maybe it should be.

I don't think Dexron is used in electric pumped PAS systems. The stuff I got for my Peugeot looks nothing like it.

Sure - I was referring to the traditional mechanical pump systems.
I've never changed the fluid on an electric system (yet!)
