I enjoyed the comment from the original post on Reddit, about it being a Royal Mail tracking number!

Yes, it follows the same format of all the RM tracking numbers I have ever used.
2 letters, and 9 numbers followed by GB.

Saw this one on the M4 yesterday, except the 'A' was on it's own 9 was close to the 'YPO', making it a good plate because it was immediately obvious what they were trying to say. Predictably it was towing a trailer. Not sure it's something you would want to advertise though.

Seems to be a fashion for the trimmed plate round my area, not legally allowed but this one has been around a while.
