£2.80 for a pint of Carling at our local at the moment. Old landlord left and there's a manager in at the moment. First thing the new manager did was to drop the price from £3.20p. Dunno how long this will last though, so I'll make the most of it.
I'd sooner have a couple of pints at the local than have some cans in the house. More of a social thing.

ummm cider,my favourite is all ciders.my local pubs in west london the price ranges from £2.90 to £3.90 for scrumpy jack or strongbow.
now i have a thirst,off for a pint now.

£3 for pint of Sharp's Doom Bar, or £2.65 if I feel like a pint of Courage Best. Drinking less best though, as quality seems to have slipped recently.

As above, have the odd bottle/dram in front of the box, but need to get out to the pub twice a week to stop myself vegetating in front of the crap on TV these days.

£2.19 a lager at one of my locals and the other local is £2.60 for a Guinness, that's with a 30% staff discount though. :)

Just back from the local (an hour ago) still £2.80p a pint (but is going up soon) Local offie is selling pint cans of Carling at £8 for 8 cans,,,,,,,, £1 a pint,,,, Starting to look a rather attractive proposition. (specially after the fun at the petrol pumps on Friday). Running on fumes as usual, eventually found a station with a fairly short queue. Chap in front of me only managed to put £7 worth in his tank. Fookin idiot didn't realise his tank was almost full.

Being on the state pension I treat the pubs like I do day trips to the coast and eating out.......A thing of the past.
