It now appears that Cameron offended that many public sector workers with his pre strike speech, that twice as many striked as initially planned to.

That is our PM for you - as tackless as ever. He even makes the Duke of Edinburgh look good.

That's the thing - the Duke of Edinburgh is a prime example of a public servant who has left it too late to retire. His pension pot must be nearly full by now
