Have any of you pro's bought any gadgets off of QVC? and if so what?

tonight is a telescopic 3.8m ladder (£165)
circular saw jig (£33 which replaces a compound mitre saw worth over £1000)
extendable clamp...

I can't see many trades people falling for all that clever talk.

You get what you pay for. If I need a £1000 compound mitre saw, then thats what I'll buy. I doubt very much that a £33 jig is going to be upto doing the job any where near as well

It really does annoy me that QVC and the like can get away with such blatant lies.... scr*wf*x do a compund mitre saw for £25 !!!!!!

I bought one of the Telesteps Extending Ladders from QVC - not the current one but an earlier 3.4 metre model. Excellent quality and did all that QVC said it would.

I got rid of it recently because we are moving to a flat and I just don't need it. I've seen the one on offer today and it is same make as the one I had but a little longer.

They are expensive but - I repeat - excellent quality!

PS - don't work for QVC - honest!
