Hi there,
I havea rd 532i boiler that has stopped working yesterday.

I still have hot water but I don't have any heating.

The thermostat is electric (checked for battery) when I took the fascia off the boiler got an error code.

I have checked the out door condensor pipe which is not frozen even had a hairdryer on it just to be sure

I have done the reset button

Chimney sweep button done

Master turn on/off done

Pressure at 2.(this was at 0 so sorted that first)

Thermostat is on full.

I have turned the dials for the radiators and water back and forth still nothing

I've also pressed spanner button for 10 secs and I got nothing.

Does anyone one have any other ideas I could try?

I'm currently running the hot tap as the ignition light stays on.

It seems like its trying to fire up but can't.

I'm in a rental and my landlords couldn't get the boiler man out tonight. Said he will try get out tomorrow. I'm a single mum with two kids in the house. Really need the heating on.

Thanks for and advice.

What error code did you get?

You have probably done all you can so wait for the engineer to visit tomorrow

Ps. You have over pressurised the boiler. But the engineer will sort that for you tomorrow

Hi, yes the pressure was at 0. It was one of the first things I checked.

I've had fd, a8? (I think)

The only other thing was 'Sophie full program'

My landlord has said something about a condenser needing emptying but I'm not doing anything else. Hah. I've not got a clue. :(

I thi k that would consist of the boiler being opened up. Dont think I fancy that job haha

Yeh don't do anything else. Wait for the engineer. He will sort it out for you.
