I agree wholeheartedly with this policy. But I've just got my pot of hoo-moose from the fridge to find that there is only a film lid under the card sleeve.

I'd prefer them to ditch the film and put a proper lid on.

How else do you suggest they keep it fresh?
Herself eats that stuff by the bucket. Rather you than me, sez i.
 
I haven't bought houmous for a while. But I like a lid as well as the film. Then once it is opened, it is really easy to seal it up again.
 
Completely agree, the supermarkets could stop it tomorrow. Greedt ****s don't care about us.
Its like Bupa etc pretend to care about our health, its all about money.

Why isn't someone in our spinless government calling them out, insisting no more plastic is produced on our food packaging. Why??>>

They're too busy forcing us to buy expensive milk floats...
