firstly, with respect... there doesn;t need to be a point does there?

and secondly, it was an attempt to prompt a discussion around the feeling that DIYnot has split into to distinct camps (IMO)... some valuable things have been said so far...

this is the "general discussion" forum, and i think there are distinct relationships between certain members on this site... and i wanted to explore that..

plus i don't think i need to justify my threads.... the mods are there to manage that aren't they?

it's about time people on here grew up.....

whats the point of getting angry with words on the screen.... nobody knows anyone on here in real life..... so lets all rise above the ego thing and enjoy this forum as a vbrant place to discuss the world we live in???
