I really think the sensible money is to remain rather than Mays terrible deal.

Corbyn is scared of upsetting his Northern voters that want Brexit, so he wont stick his head above the parapet in regards to the peoples vote.

And he wont support it principle if Chukka's TIG group try for it.

Reluctantly, I've come to the same conclusion. Brexit is fine in principle, but our pathetic politicians have made anything other than hard Brexit or remain worthless. Never has the calibre of our 'leaders' been so low on all sides.

Another issue: with The UK declining all the time, do I really want to trap myself here by losing free movement of people without the ability to escape to more civilised countries in Europe - mainly Eastern/central?

I have not missed the fact that there have been 2 EU membership referenda in my lifetime, and THEREFORE NO CLAIM THAT THE SECOND ONE WAS "ONCE IN A LIFETIME" IS TRUE.
Except being told at the time is was!!!...a few years ago.no more ref..get over it.

But you knew that that was demonstrably false.

You do not escape the charge of being a liar when you repeat what you know to be a lie just because you did not originally create it.
I see BAS is trying to re write history

What David Cameron said in his last speech before the referendum:
"And remember: they can’t undo the decision we take.

"If we vote out, that’s it.

"It is irreversible.

"We will leave Europe – for good.

“I am absolutely clear a referendum is a referendum, it’s a once in a generation, once in a lifetime opportunity and the result determines the outcome ... You can’t have neverendums, you have referendums.”

David Cameron is the ex-PM. What his opinion was three years ago doesn't really matter now. He didn't write it into law, so it remains just his opinion.
It's like quoting Farage, and saying it's unfinished business because he said it was.

It is entirely relevant to the discussion above though.

BAS is saying DP knew it was a lie -why? -it was something said by the prime minister of the time.

If remain had won, BAS would no doubt be saying 'it was a once in a lifetime vote'
