High Court Proceedings over Article 50

This idea about brexit being voted down by parliment seems to be coming from zealous remain fanatics.
Can't see it happening. There would be mayhem.
The courts will decide whether the government have the right.

Even if they decide the government have the right, do you really think they will rule against the people?
Highly unlikely.
I realise referendum results are not something recognised by the eu unless the outcome favours the eu but for the UK government to stoop to that level will be a new low.

And we do not have the competent negotiators capable of doing the job.

The reason we don't have the competent negotiators is that for 43 years, we've let nanny in Brussels tell us she knows best by doing it for us, so we're going to have to learn anew how to wipe our own noses and bottoms.

Yes, the negotiations will be tough, but that does not mean they shouldn't be undertaken; the Battle of Britain was 'tough', but it was seen through.

Also remember that the EUrocrats will be just as worried about the negotiations.

And another thing:........to all those who say the EU will 'punish' us so as to not let any other countries have fancy ideas about leaving,
that would just about sum up the EU as a sclerotic, jealous, peevish and inward-looking construct.

sclerotic, jealous, peevish and inward-looking
You are describing the Quitters, surely.

What is 'inward-looking' about wishing to leave what is effectively a closed shop, and looking to deal with the world outside the EU?

That's what I say

fact is most of the remainers have thrown there toys out of the pram, & are un-able to come to terms with the decision

They are in shock & will probably end up as a burden on the NHS with the increase in costs for all the medication that they will now require
valiumn , Prosac , Viagra as they will not be able to get it up :LOL::LOL:

Yep tough times ahead for all the Brexiteers who will have to carry & subsidise the dead beats & no hopers :LOL::LOL:

The Quitters are largely older people, so many of them will not be paying so much tax as they drop out of the ranks of the Employed.

Even if they decide the government have the right,
The Government don't have the right one way or the other. It is up to Parliament.
From Morgan Stanley..
"There is a convention in the UK that a manifesto commitment is binding on a government and shall be respected by parliament, and the Conservative manifesto for the 2015 election contained the commitment “to hold an In/Out referendum on UK membership of the EU and honour the result.” [Also] the Referendum Bill was passed by a large majority of the current MPs, which carries some implication that they are bound to respect the result."

Very well said.

Basically the whole out thing is a sham in order to oust poor old Cameroon.

We'll still have to pay our EU dues.

We'll still have immigration.

Congrats Brexiters.
