Express themselves freely, not violently
I suppose it might be possible, yet highly unlikely, that your responsible adult gets to sit down with you & review your contribution to this debate.

Could you please assure me that you really don't think that every soldier who gave their life in both the 1st & 2nd world war, & every war before those & every war after, were not simply expressing themselve's violently !

1 of us definitely needs an adult to explain the differences. If you think that it is me, then unfortunately, some of their suffering has been in vain.

Some very brave people fought against violent extremism in relative recent history.

People have died to give other people the right to think & express themselve's freely.

On the basis that one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter, then subjective / objective arguments should be allowed in any & all forums.
free speech comes with responsibility, saying things without a social filter is irresponsible
debate needs to be at a level where your opinions can be opinionated but not overly offensive
if you want reasonable debate, you have a responsibility not to be childish offensive or overly antagonistic
we should react on a forum in way our child or offspring would be proud off our hopefully intelligent well reasoned well presented adult conversations where thinking that being condescending or belittling is unacceptable (y)
:D
lots off big words for a possibly illiterate sweaty sock from auld reeky;)

It's a privately run website. Why on earth would anyone expect to be allowed "free speech" while also breaking the site's rules?
This thread breaks the rules too - expect to see it deleted.
If you don't like it, find another website.
Some websites ban religion & politics. Doesn't mean they HAVE to ban everyone who says "Jesus crap, this government is awful", but that's the thin end of the wedge.
It isn't run for the benefit of its users, it's run to make a profit, however the admins want to do it.

I can remember some people who evidently were banned just for being a jerk or a troll, or both, over a period. Which is fair enough. Like that "Samaritan"

I am no longer able to reply to the current threads about immigration. They say that if you want to know the truth about anything find out what you are not allowed to say.

It is all very sad as I still had outstanding matters to discuss. Not least Notch's statement that he wants Britain to take one million immigrants per year.

Not just one million, but one million per year.

I questioned Notch about this outrageous statement, but he didn't reply. (He can reply but won't; I can't reply but would if I could!)

To be fair to Notch, I don’t think that’s quite what he said. I can only find this:

there is plenty of room for 1 million foreigners in the North of England, maybe 2 million.
Living in the South as he does, that just demonstrates that he is a good old fashioned NIMBY which sums him up perfectly!

1) How did he arrive at the figure of one million per year?
Andy, my apologies I was only winding you up, I didn’t realise you would take it seriously.

of course 1 million net, would not be sustainable.

You might not like it but the reality is this country needs a fair level of foreign workers to sustain its economy….there is no other fix to this in the short or medium term

That was just winding up Andy as well.

I didn’t mean the North, just the town where Andy lives

Not according to Keir Starmer's speech to the CBI this week. He made a fair point by telling business' to pay people a living wage and give them an incentive to do these jobs required so urgently by migrant workers.
Picking fruit isn't so difficult that foreign specialists are required ffs.

Notch back tracking yet again now there is a surprise

No it doesn't. The knock-on effects are limitless, such as being stuck in a car park for 4 hours:

I don't see the point of "sustaining" an economy if it causes such overcrowding and unpleasant daily life.

if you want reasonable debate, you have a responsibility not to be childish offensive or overly antagonistic
Quite,
I suppose it might be possible, yet highly unlikely, that your responsible adult gets to sit down with you & review your contribution to this debate.
And some people wonder why their rule breaking posts get deleted or they find themselves unable to post on certain threads. It's a mystery...

Maybe you're right Andy11.
If we want to forsake all the modern day luxuries and live frugally in a remote place devoid of people (and the internet) we should be allowed to.

I must admit the streets are almost empty in some cities, where there are no immigrants

here is the rather lovely Pyongyang:
