Seen any swallows recently ?

When I was young, many years ago, one bird that I used to see in their hundreds which I can’t remember seeing for years, is a tree sparrow. I can remember seeing nesting colonies like rookeries in the trees. I also remember that round where I lived in East London, there would practically be a house sparrow nest under many a swan-neck drain pipe.

Apparently hedgehogs are in a sharp decline

Lack of birds ect

Tis the farmers fault along with consumers who fuel the demand

How far does your food travel to get on her plate

Deforestation on a massive scale to feed us all birds and other wild life are losing there habitats

Saw a couple of Ruby-crowned kinglets today. An American bird apparently. Cool!

Did you see them in this country. Lovley looking bird
Yes I did! I'd never seen them before, only ever been to NY in winter, ha. They flew into my path, having a bit of a squabble I think and their red heads on full display. Tiny little things too, very cute. Cheers Bodd :D

I used to see all these big flash colourful birds skalking in Aus. But the most beautiful was the fairy Wren.

What a lovely little bird

There’s a Laurel that’s got a load of (I think) sparrows in it and a bare tree trunk with a couple of small black and white ones, maybe some king if finch?

I’m going to get a wall chart showing all the bird types so I can ID them better.

There’s this guy too that comes most mornings:
