Shows how untrustworthy the BBC are

The thing is, the BBC deliberately chopped up the video to suit its own narrative. Thus, showing Trump in an extremely aggressive manner.

If i was Trump i would sue the BBC for deformation of character.

Doesnt matter how long ago Jan 6th was. They still deliberately chopped up the video to inflict lies...
The Panorama episode was externally made, it’s not clear whether the BBC airing was incompetence or deliberate. I wonder if it done by the sane people who did the Gaza thing.

Either way, Twumpy did encourage the Capitol riots, the Panorama episode just made it a tad more obvious.

Are you johnD --

No. Although that's another truth you'll probably ignore.

its clear to anyone that its a sneaky underhand tactic -

If your eyesight is OK, maybe there's something wrong with your screen?

There's nothing wrong with my eyesight, and nothing wrong with my screen, and what's clear to me are the greyed-out words. I can see them just fine, and am not misled into thinking you only wrote what remains in black.

Then why do it if its not to mislead John

Defamation? Don't be silly, he'd lose and lose badly. Even MBK with his poor grasp of law would tell you it would be laughed out of court. I doubt it would even get close to a court room.

No it isnt

This was a one current affairs programme aired 3 years after the event,

The BBC news covered the events of Jan6 and subsequent court cases accurately and in detail

It’s laughable that Trump and Reform supporters who get their news from GBnews, Fox, Telegraph, Daily Mail have the gall to criticise an actual quality broadcaster.

The Panorama episode " Trump: A Second Chance" was aired on 28 October 2024.
That date is about a week before the U.S. presidential election (which was on 5 November 2024).

I totally appreciate this programme was not aired in the US, but clips from it were widely shared on social media - did the BBC try and interfere in another countries election with fake news ?

what saddens me the most about this is; deep down inside I trust the BBC, or at least trust them more than any other news outlet - so very sad to realise they're no better than the rest

Seriously I don't care abut Trump, wish he had not been elected, but I care very much about what news I can trust and this for me is a major let down by the bbc

Wonder when the BBC will stop bullying people to pay for a licence, why don't they do what Netflix do and let people subscribe/ choose?

I have never understood how a private company can impose a licence fee even if you dont want it, surely they could encrypt their chanel so you subscribe to watch it if you want and not just because you have a tv.

I quite like BBC radio

In particular the today news prog in the morning
Which I find very informative

Sad that Michelle Hussain left imo
I liked her
