As Holmslaw - the t&e has mechanical protection via its outer grey sheathing and the chance of movement when entering a flushed backbox is next to no chance.

I still wouldn't fit a backbox without a grommet but that doesn't mean they're always required.

Most people would struggle to follow the instructions in that picture anyway....
 
The bloke in the picture has got two right hands. :eek: So its his left hand that's missing.

He's holding the screwdriver with his left hand - look where his index finger is in relation to his thumb.
The socket is held in his right hand.
 
ah I know this guy, he's missing his little finger on his left hand just below the knuckle ( the one closest the palm, not the finger tip end. )..
 
Just following a basic rule of testing.

Always keep one hand behind your back (and get some other mug to do the dangerous bit. :LOL: )
