I would like to point out to anyone that uses the section of the A508 between Maidwell and Lamport that the speed limit is 60mph, so when you get to the speed camera, do not slow down to 35mph. Why would you slow down to 35mph anyway?

well said. Was behind someone in a 40 zone earlier. speed camera just after the 60 zone ended, and they kept slowing down, ended up at 30.
WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY????? The camera's trigger point is probably 45, on account of it being downhill, so 40 is perfectly safe to do! ffs.

There was a mobile speed camera out the other day. Everyone knew it was there, cos there was a lorry coming the other way, flashing his lights and waving his hands out of the window consequently, everyone was doing about 20mph

if anybody on this forum as had the pleasure of receiving a speeding fine,It's a general Question really.....Was you gabbing to one of your passengers when it happened...it would be interesting to know the %%%%%%%%%%.
People aren't paying attention when they're driving, but I think they should definitely put the speed limit on the camera itself.
If the one near us had a big 40 on it then they'd know not to break suddenly down to 30.
