someone please out there help me out. there are 5 sports that use a net but not a ball ive sussed out 3 .. fishing, ice hockey and babmington so any ideas of the other 2 please.. cheers P M

Richard, I think the Shot Putt and the Discus would not count as the nettering is for safety only, the sport can be played without them and it will not impede or negatively impact the game..only some poor schlob in the audience if it goes wrong!

I have never partaken, but dont they throw a big ball in shot putt, so that would count that out, since its a ball

Annette (a net) is the girl that holds the cards up with "Round 1/2/3" on. I suggest you go and give the guy who set you the question a good thump.
The question was "Which 10 olympic sports use a net?"
Answer is:
Badminton, basketball, tennis, table tennis, volleyball, football, hockey, netball, waterpolo and boxing (then the awful line about Annette holding the numbers up...) (Ice hockey is a Winter Olympic sports)
