hi all

I am having a new kitchen fitted and on having the old one removed we have found an old door way bodged up and some very unattractive heating pipes so i have decided to build a stud wall to cover all these. This has caused a problem as the original wall is know where near level and taking measurements from the wall opposite has not helped as that is not very level either!! So my question is how would i go about getting my stud wall straight as i am stumped : ?

thanks in advance

would that not just tell me if the uprights are level, i did try it on floor and ceiling but it said it was straight when you could see it wasn't if that makes sense.
