Anyway, the criteria for the days out are that it's accessible by train, has a minimum of five pubs, a 'spoons' is good because that's breakfast taken care of, but not a problem if there isn't one.
They're cheap, reliable and consistent, that's good enough for us.

The one in Penzance is just at the top end of the main drag, before the junction. Yes they are cheap and reliable, but I stopped bothering with food in our local one - because they almost always served it tepid for some strange reason. Complaints to staff failed to buck their ideas up.
