I'd expect people starving and being caught in war zones to top themselves about 20 times as often as the fat softies in the west - wouldn't you?

Take a look at Syria for example.

I read somewhere that the rate of suicide goes down during wartime is that true?

I believe that everyone should be 100% in control of their own lives...if they wish to end it then they should have the right to do so.

I think so if there's no other solution to help them then the problem with the law now making it difficult to help them and normally they take their own life in front of people, for an example I have a friend who is a train driver and so far 3 suicide bridge jumpers in front of him and he's still getting nightmare flashback, so should the Government change the law to help them because otherwise they're going to do it anyway.

It was my father 3rd attempt to end it all, I saved him from the first 2 but feel terrible about prolonging his life, it's very difficult what to do sometime.
