Someone told me a car used to drive round with a trailer on the back it had a sign on the back saying

"This car runs on Sawdust"

When a mate sold his Triumph 2000, he had to put sawdust in the gearbox. Petrol was the only sensible option for the fuel tank though.

Petrol engines can run on wood-gas so I guess sawdust wood work.
