the bible goes deeper, it exposes our sinful state before a holy God,and it gives us a remedy. it goes to the heart. the bible teachings are mostly contrary to the world system, in fact, it opposes it,in many ways.

The Bible tells us that Satan is the god of this world and is misleading the entire earth ....figuratively it describes him as 'roaming around like a roaring lion seeking to devour someone' ....
When he offered Jesus all the kingdoms of the earth in the wilderness.... Jesus didn't say to him 'they're not yours to give' did he? Jesus knew Satan was in control of the earth's kingdoms/governments at that time and that he had been since Adam and Eve left Eden.....and still is if the Bible is true.
