The moral maze

Another equal question:

Would you assassinate President Trump to prevent 100 million people dying from drowning, disease and famine as a result of man-made climate change?

Would you ?

Would you eliminate the whole human population because it has become the ultimate plague and will eventually destroy the earth?

Do people's life styles contribute to the death of children ?

The raw materials we want

Minerals for our mobile phones and battery's for leccy cars is child labour involved ;) in the mining and extraction in 3rd world / African states

I listen to it on the radio they have been on about this Saudi caper

Leaving thT to one side a question that came up was

" Would you kill a child to cure cancer " ???
If it was absolutely proven that killing one child would save the lives of millions ,why not.
Britain bombed German cities and killed thousands of children in order to preserve the life of millions of other children.
Israel has killed thousands of children in order to preserve the lives of an allegedly larger number of people.

The intention is usually to show that you have no absolute moral imperative. It can be refined by graduating the genetic affinity you have with the victims.

You'll notice that the examples you quote are "foreign" or of a different religion.

People who are "different" are often seen as less value.

The Americans were prepared to shoot down passenger planes during that 9/11 caper ?

Or if some one went into a catholic
Confession box and stated that they had planted a bomb some where what would the preist do ?
Probably cover up for them, Catholic priests have been involved in the orchestration of terrorist attacks in N.Ieland which have killed children.

I thought that any statement made in the confessional box was strictly confidential ? In theory even a court of law cannot compel a preist to break that confidence ??
