Eggs and rabbits, fertility symbols. Eggs - obvious. Rabbits - because they produce lots and lots and lots of 'em when they give birth.

Easter is related to something to do with Eastertide season for lent or fasting like the muslim's do at Ramadan,

And the bunny is related to santa clause .

I suspect Easter probaly was a spring festival along with a festival around the winter solstice on 21st December where pagan rituals were practised by ancient brits before a more fashionable cult from the east (christianity)was introduced and we all know what happened next.
