Is it me, or if the British tried this they would have the Navy out. Yet every year it seems the French have some gripe that does nothing but screw the British travelling abroad.

I,ve always admired the unity of the French when they have a gripe. Us Brits just seem to sit on our ar$e$ and moan about it.

get couple of Navy destroyers to escort the british ferrries.. if they are stopped claim it as and act of piracy and blow the offending frenchie out of the water..

Why is it that the Frogy government lets its own protest at anything they don't like but our shower would have the troops onto us if we did it?

We no longer have a Navy, there are more admirals than ships to hang their flags from. As for pirates we can't cope so the Chinese are having to send their vessels. Nelson must be spinning.
