See this Volvo parked. At gist I thought it was a Swedish police car but I think it's a rally car.
Any ideas

I’d say rally car judging by the spotlight on top and the roll cage fitted inside.

The first version of that car was a total disaster
Blighted with issues
Poor engineering
Ect ect

Typical French tat
I posted up up a host of issues they had with that car a while back

Massive recalls and warranty issues
They even shipped it to the states not realising that the hydraulic oil they used was and had been a banned substance in the states for years

That's fantastic how did you find that? I stopped outside their house and pretended to be looking at my phone while taking a sneaky photo. But of course the flash went off......

Just thinking of some of the classics I had, apart from the Triumph 2000 I also had

Datsun 180B SSS

and a Rover 3.5 SD1 with velour upholstery. I do miss velour, can't get it now as the velour cat that was used for their pelts is now extinct.

There was 3 left on the road last year.

I look back at a couple of my old cars and see they are worth a fortune now.

Most cars from new decline in value then they hit the bottom before they start to rise again in value. At this moment what cars would you consider buying that are starting to rise again in value? But are still cheap.

Never really had a great deal of interest in rallying tbh

There will be a good few historic rally cars at the festival of speed
