A better comedian might be able to make this stuff really funny. There's plenty of material to work with. I've laughed out loud at lots of the cartoons etc. posted on here by the right wingers. But this guy is like listening to somebody read out the Telegraph comments section in a squeaky voice.

Your lee Anderson quote seems to be missing context is there supposed to be something else with it

I believe it only kicked off when counter protesters arrived- ferried in by the police some people were saying but probably fake news

Why do they always seem to be "four star" hotels. Are they just the ones which make the papers. What is wrong with using two star hotels. It is something I have always found strange about this situation.

Exactly you can understand the frustrations. The asylum seekers in the hotel won’t care. Although it must be frightening for them to see and hear the chanting. I feel sorry for them in one sense but then on the other hand blame our weak government for allowing the situation to develop.
As I've said before, I don't blame the migrants. I blame our p1ss poor policies and attempts to do anything about it.

Yes you can talk about doing the morally right thing (as an individual) however if the system lets you do it then what?

I didn't really even blame the politicians who claimed expenses for stuff like bird tables and water fountains years back, remember that fiasco? I blamed the policies and procedures that enabled them to claim. That is where the real fault lay.

How's the 'one to you three to us' thing going that Keir announced to much fanfare a few weeks back?

Reminds me of the Are you Being Served movie where they all go on a works holiday some one says "why are we in a 2 star hotel" and a reply came "well put it this way - they dont do 1 star"

The policy should that they're only put up in our very best hotels e.g. 5 stars. Including the Savoy and such like. And that they're given vouchers to shop in Harrods etc.

Yes, our policy should be that they're only housed and catered for by our very best establishments.

Only then might we actually see some real action on this sh1tshow.

Is there such a thing a s a 2 star hotel - not something to brag about so you are just a hotel - dont mention the 2 stars.
But the reason I think it is always 4 star is because they are the higher cost hotels that are struggling to keep going and the gov comes along with a 5 year offer they cant refuse.

Hotel stars do not indicate quality or luxury or price. They indicate facilities provided. Such as a washbasin in the room, or a coat rack.

A multi star hotel can be dirty and run down, with mice, dripping taps and torn carpets

I stand to be corrected, but I'm sure WizzAir used to have signs in their planes that proudly stated something along the lines of "Voted Hungary's 3rd best airline!"

I doubt the old American embassy, the Chancery in London, has that problem.
