Your lee Anderson quote seems to be missing context is there supposed to be something else with it
I believe it only kicked off when counter protesters arrived- ferried in by the police some people were saying but probably fake news
As I've said before, I don't blame the migrants. I blame our p1ss poor policies and attempts to do anything about it.Exactly you can understand the frustrations. The asylum seekers in the hotel won’t care. Although it must be frightening for them to see and hear the chanting. I feel sorry for them in one sense but then on the other hand blame our weak government for allowing the situation to develop.
Reminds me of the Are you Being Served movie where they all go on a works holiday some one says "why are we in a 2 star hotel" and a reply came "well put it this way - they dont do 1 star"Why do they always seem to be "four star" hotels. Are they just the ones which make the papers. What is wrong with using two star hotels. It is something I have always found strange about this situation.
The policy should that they're only put up in our very best hotels e.g. 5 stars. Including the Savoy and such like. And that they're given vouchers to shop in Harrods etc.Why do they always seem to be "four star" hotels. Are they just the ones which make the papers. What is wrong with using two star hotels. It is something I have always found strange about this situation.

Hotel stars do not indicate quality or luxury or price. They indicate facilities provided. Such as a washbasin in the room, or a coat rack.Is there such a thing a s a 2 star hotel - not something to brag about so you are just a hotel - dont mention the 2 stars.
But the reason I think it is always 4 star is because they are the higher cost hotels that are struggling to keep going and the gov comes along with a 5 year offer they cant refuse.

I doubt the old American embassy, the Chancery in London, has that problem.Hotel stars do not indicate quality or luxury or price. They indicate facilities provided. Such as a washbasin in the room.
A five star hotel can be dirty and run down, with dripping taps and torn carpets
But the number of stars does not guarantee it.I doubt the old American embassy, the Chancery in London, has that problem.
I bet it has mice, though.
