Well, the start of the job was a callout to the MCB popping on the socket circuit.
The chap had actually extended the ring out around the garden. Several pieces of T+E worn through where fed through shubbery etc, no TRS glands used on sockets so sockets full of slugs, spiders and black mouch.
Nothing immedately dangerous I guess, but it needed sorting one way or the other! Current owner only wanted two sockets for the two ponds, so I have stripped out 12 sockets would you believe!
To be fair that stuff is very sturdy - it'll protect the cable from wheelbarrows, lawnmower blades, boots etc, and the slots in it are too small to let you jab it with a fork or a rake.
