Up to date figures

dextrous

Anyone got any more up-to-date figures which include the UK's ethnic diversity spread. Found the 2001 census:
http://www.statistics.gov.uk/cci/nugget.asp?id=455

There's a load of claims on here about whites no longer being in the majority, which would seem to be a huge swing away from the 92.1% case in 2001.

Anyone care to back this up with facts rather than anecdotal evidence?

Two areas of Britain have more black people and Asians than white people for the first time ever, newly-released results of the 2001 census for England and Wales have revealed.
White people made up 39.4% of the population in Newham, east London, and 45.3% in Brent, north west London, according to the latest figures of the £200m survey.
Nationally you are right but people on here are on about local levels which these figures might support.

What would they tell you?

Take the overall population add a smattering of foreigner(5-10%) see things aren't so bad.

Take an area in say Middlesex, your results would look like ****.

Take an area in Bradford  It'd be more like 92% asian
Take an area like Wythenshawe in manchester and it's likely to be 98% white. And yet, I don't hear the non-white complain
