Vaillant diverter valve Improved design?

If you pay Homeserve £60 a year, they need to take their ginormous expenses and profits out of that, so how much does that leave to pay for your boiler service? £25? You'll get some bloke who has to fit in 10 or so calls a day so he's not going to have time to do a thorough job. I know you have cash flow problems but you're better off paying an RGI to do a proper service than pay for some insurance policy on special offer with terms and conditions and exclusions.

TBH how much work will anybody do for £5 a month , now think about it , i know your head is working over time now:LOL:

being tight will cost you in the end

I spend the money where and when I need to. You should see how anal I am with my cars.

I was a bit ignorant to the servicing aspect of boilers but I've learnt my lesson now and it will be getting its annual service from now on.

I was always going to get it serviced.

I removed the diff on my car just so I could change the oil thoroughly. Good old BMW and their lack of drain plugs.

thats probably in better state than your boiler :LOL:

Oh for sure. I've changed the diff, gearbox and engine oil. All filters have been changed. It's also had a coolant change.

I've also replaced the shocks, springs, top mounts, track rod ends, thermostats, glow plugs, glow plug module, upgraded the brakes etc but that's a post for another forum.
