And no u wouldn't get any unexpected water because of my method
If also charge quite a bit more than £216inc vat to supply and fit one of these Diverter valves.
My boiler servicing starts from £70+vat dependant on location and boiler model
Well my plan was to close the TRV's/valves on the all the radiators as I would expect less drainage and unexpected water flow that way. I would imagine cycling the diverter valve by hand helps to make sure you drain both heat exchangers otherwise I'm guessing they could p!ss water out when you remove the diverter valve.
You're draining the whole system?
