just to try ive flushed the drain off no black water there no air either so ill give it 30 mins to see if no ill have to remove the rad .would you say this boiler would cope with 10 rads 15kw 51000 btu

right droped rad of now and opened flow an return into bucket no air so reconnected rad and bled it and fired boiler up still no heat coming down to drops ive noticed that i cant hear much of a flow around rads like i could with the old grunfos pump, i mean you could hear that water was pushing round there not with this boiler is this normal .Ino theres heat flowing round main curcuit but would an extra pump aid the flow to the rads
If there's no air in pipes you won't hear any noise. Theres got to be something simple that is being missed. Something after the new flow & return pipe work that you have installed, in the existing pipe work. Are you still sure 150% that there is no chance of a anti gravity valve residing somewhere totally unexpected and hidden

I've had 2 systems in the past where this has fooled me for about a day or so yes im sure as the orignal f/ r the the cylinder in 28 mm came up a void along with the 22m that tee,d of from the pump , icut the 28mm out and linked the 22mm that came up the void together and joined extra 22mm to use as the new circuit and to use as f/r to the boiler there was only 1 m of the old 22mm used and no dummy valve found as the old system used to bypass heat anyway but ill check again but unless its on a 15mm pipe leading to a rad somwhere im 100 percent sure

)just re-checked pipework definatly no valve there ,the bathroom rad used to be a by pass for the old sytem but now repiped into the f/r/circuit
goto tell u this has got me totally stumped ,hopefully my friend mate is coming down tues to do the wiring for the y plan fitted im sure ive got it sused but ill let him sort it plus hopefully he can shed somelight on this strange problem
still seems o me as if theres enough pump power to heat the f/r circuit from the boiler round the heating main loop but when it trys to flow up pipes to the rads it loses the flow ,its heats the bathroom rad and a coulpe of other rads upstairs but only after about an hour and not very hot even after trying to balence then
ow and thats with setting spped of pump to 2 but leaving the bypass alone ,its half out

Sorry, I have only just noticed this reply.
Firstly you do NOT need a second pump! One poor fellow who fitted one ended up with a boiler which did not work!
That result implies to me that the pump is not pumping properly.
Please isolate boiler and remove pump head and see if the centre is blocked with debris.
I will assume the pump is a single speed with no speed selector switch.

hi tony i can do as you ask i think .. this pump is a two speed pump selectable speed in he onboard computor .which part acually should i remove , i take it i will need to drain again
ok so i shut both valves f/r and undo the two filling valves that will take the pressure out right , then remove the front of the pump i think there allen bolts without going up the loft and takin a look is this right.. and yes the 2 speed was activated by means of the computor programme
