Sounds like a loose cannon to me after a lifetime of incarceration.

But that's what parole boards are for, isn't it? They let criminals out of jail so that they can kill again.

Of course I wont Joe, I do not keep track of all those that are paroled from prison, nor those that get sent there.
BUt I am 100% accurate in saying that a great many who have killed are released after they have served their time.

If you get send to jail for 20 years - you get released after 20 years.

That is how our justice system works (or not) you do your time, you get released.

You dont get to stay in after you have done your time unless you do something else inside.

We may not like him, what he did or that he will be released but at some time I can guarantee that he will be released (subject to him not doing anything else while inside.)

Personally my son is called James, he is the same age and me & my wife were very upset over what happened, I dont like that he will be released but have to accept that we cannot keep all criminals locked up forever - we do not have the room.

The original jail term was only 8 years, Venables has already been released on license as did t'other one. He just broke the terms of it so was returned.
