Victorian Dad

Mrs Secure thinks I'm a Victorian Dad because I say things like:

"Don't act the goat" to the children and

"I've come by hard times" (but not to the kids!)

Are they really that old-fashioned?

I came out with one from my youth quite innocently I said

"Play the whiteman"

well these two kitchen fitters 25 years younger were shocked !!!!!
