Shame it shows a flattening of the general trend. Nobody is looking for a decline, or a decline on a section of road, that will give a nice soundbite. Declines are expected. What we are looking for is a significant decline in the overall data.... and it isn't there. Glad I could help.

So if the roads with 20mph limits decrease more than the national average decrease that would be the ideal statistic?
Not perfect as the Welsh data is a subset of the UK data and the UK as a whole is rolling out 20mph limits, but as good as we can get.

I'm not against the 20mph limit but I think it needs to be more targeted..
It will just be a blanket 20mph. I guess the best thing about this is with many areas congestion will mean it's hard to go any faster than 20mph so won't be much of a problem.
I get annoyed that more isn't done to stop youngsters killing themselves at 3am driving back from somewhere. Where are the cameras at night?
I also haven't seen a drink driving campaign for over 10+ years.
I got stoped twice in one night back in the 90s . What happened to that?
