Wax dots on fuse?

TBH, Ttc, I think the OP gave up long before the Part P discussion got going - he/she seemed unwilling to accept that the wax dot isn't an earth fault indicator (or some such), so has probably gone off to look for a forum on which there are people who will agree with him/her.
 
ps if anyone cares to answer my last question plse dont go into a diatribe about his other activities...im just asking about changing fuses

Afaik no, replacing a fuse with an identical one is not notifiable.

To be pedantic, it depends on what you mean by the word "change". Is it:

1. Renew a melted rewireable fuse?
2. Replace a fuse cartridge with an MCB?
3. Reset an MCB?
4. Change an MCB for a different type or rating?
