Whacker plates (Moved from Information)

Hi.
I'm looking to purchase a whacker plate. Can anyone give me a tip, there are so many.......

Wacker plates are one of the few tools you cant really skimp on. Cheap ones will just not do the job properly, often their weight and force is just too light.

You will easily tell the difference by price, cheap ones will be £400 decent makes like below more like £800

If its for a short period i.e a self build or project then buy a second hand one locally. Dynapac, belle, mbw and wacker are good brands.

If its for professional use then buy a new one.

I have a belle pcx 450 which has been faultless for 10 years plus but most makes will have horror stories from someone.

Agree. Mine has a Honda engine and it fires up effortlessly no matter where or how long it has been stood.
