What have you been watching lately?

I finished it yesterday. Thought I’d picked the wrong channel when I saw the start of episode 1 on series 5. Of course, Mrs Mottie couldn’t have picked a worse time to come into the room. Reminds me of the time I was flicking between the fishing and porn channels. She said 'For ****s sake leave the porn on, you know how to catch fish!" :D

:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I don't know what to read into that other than, perhaps watching Porn you might learn a few new moves, or widen your perspective.. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I hope it was straight porn.... :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

This is not a film but a series. In German,,,, Is the film in German

It was a very long film, but first shown as a series on British TV - it was compulsive Sunday evening viewing at the time. It has since been on British TV shown in its entirety as a film.

Cannot remember the end..Does it get torped?

It ends very abruptly in mid air, having had a rough time getting past Gib to the Med.. I did think they had left it open for a Das Boot II.

[EDIT] Did I get the ending wrong, it the way I seemed to remember it?

I’ve just started watching 'Deep State'. I’ve only watched episode 1, series 1 but looks promising.

I think "Crash"" is a great film...Covers Race,Class,Gender issues etc and very cleverly woven together..Shows people can be v complex.""eye in the sky"". Enjoyed too..how true to life I wonder.

Very strange comment. I "am being brainwashed by the BBC" because I like a comedy series they aired 26 years ago in 1994?
Obviously you NEVER watch BBC, (or listen to their radio stations etc), in case you too become brainwashed.
To have such a broad blanket opinion of something is a very sad way to live your life.

I will let you off, as you were referring to an old, pre-Blair era episode. The BBC is the greatest broadcasting institution that has ever existed and it has the greatest archives which stand as a record of the most advanced and peaceful civilisation in the history of the world. But today's BBC is not the same BBC. It has been taken over. Everything it broadcasts now, be it on radio or TV, is communist propaganda. It is very cunningly done - you don't notice you're being brainwashed.

If you enjoy the classic-era BBC dramas and comedy, snap them up now on DVD while you can. Then you will have a permanent record of what was. They are burning the books as we speak.

The wrong will fail and the right prevail. Merry Christmas!

Even the ads on commercial tv are doing it these days. Notice the at least 'one by law' ethnic (often whole families) in every advert. The numbers are out of all proportion to the numbers actually in circulation. Well outside of places like London at any rate. We're being conditioned.

Notice that it's only certain ethnics in the adverts, i.e. mostly West Indians and Africans. There are few, but hardly any Chinese or other such orientals shown, and not too many Sikhs. There are muslims, but only Westernised ones, not ones wearing their traditional dress, robes, beards or burkas. And there are certainly no Jewish families shown, with their hats and heavy overcoats - why is this?

All those races i mentioned are seen in the modern British population, so if advertisers are falling over themselves to be "inclusive", why are they only including West Indians and Africans?

(Serious question, although it will probably be seen as racist!)

I agree, I have spotted that more and more with each year which passes.
