Tell me what the sound bar is like please? I love a bit of sub base. I’ve always wanted to get a good surround system. My tv is good though. Sony Bravia. Somehow the speakers are built in to the screen but the tv is slimmer than my phone.

A lot of the newer high end sound bars don't have subwoofers these days, they reckon they punch out enough bass without one.
This one has a bass button on the remote and you can go up or down two steps. I find the standard setting more than enough. Just had Kung fu Panda on and that was 'boomy' enough for me!

Decided to buy that JVC Stereo from Currys. Hate the retailer but the kit got a great write-up from Which?.

I had to replace an oven once and went and bought one from Currys. The sales assistant asked me if I wanted it to be fitted, I said no, I'll fit it myself. I was then told that If I fit it myself then it would not be under any guarantee. I asked him to call the manger who confirmed what he said. I then explained that the oven had a 3 pin plug on it and just had to be plugged in. I then told them that they dion't even know the products they sell.

Not something I bought but something my boss had to sign the paperwork for today. I was given the task of drawing up a list of things I considered necessary to comply with current H&S legislation and equipment missing from various areas and rooms in the college. After 2 weeks of walking around making notes and researching what we should have my boss priced everything up and placed an order for just over £36,000 I bet there are still things I haven't found that we may need.
