Pan fried sea bass, stir fry vegetables and rice.

The new/replacement Flame Failure Valve was delivered this morning, so we pulled the gas oven out, yet again, to install it. Avril was in the midst of organising a Chicken Supreme for dinner, on the hob, above the oven - so it was a case of raising the hob, oven out, hob back in place so she could continue the cooking the CS, plus helping me fit the rather awkward FFV.

FFV fitted, oven tested, working now exactly as it should, then eased back into place.

ha ha, yes it is. This is the standby hoist. My new one is due to be with me end of next week, I am using this until it gets delivered. I will be bringing that de icer with me though,
 
Fish, chips, mushy peas, B&B, and tea - has to be tea, with F&C's. The fish, was Lidl's beer battered haddock, home cooked. It had been passable, other times, but the batter a bit soggy, cooked in top oven, which we realised last week, wasn't getting up to temperature. This time, it was nicely crisped up. The comment was, it was even better, than our favourite local F&C shop. I would agree with that!
 
Winner winner for us tonight. Chicken, stuffing, carrots, beans, roasties, parsnips, roast beetroot and Yorkie pud.

We'll be having chicken sandwiches for lunch and chicken and chips for dinner tomorrow too.
