I am looking to get my boiler, (Potterton Puma 80), replaced as it is starting to play up, I want one with a better flow rate and it is at least 11 years old. My question is, can I supply the boiler and get my CORGI to install or is the norm/favourable to let the CORGI Plumber supply and install?

I haven't spoke to a plumber yet still at the thinking about it stage.

Any recomendations would be appriciated on what boiler to choose, it will be supplying a 3 bed house 6 radiators and a mixer shower.

Thanks

You supply the boiler, you sort out the warrantee; one issue that a lot of people forget. Besides, what makes you think that you can get a better price for a one off than a pro who buys them all the time?
Stay away from ideal, baxi, potteton and vokera to name but a few
