When you go to hospitals and doctors do you tell them they are all lieing..being conned...brain washed?Dodos not social distancing are adding to Lack of other treatments.Cancer is not immediately life threatening as Covid in some people..No one not even you can tell which person will die within days of Covid...Hence the priority over cancer.
The overall death rate from covid-19 has been estimated at 0.66%, rising sharply to 7.8% in people aged over 80 and declining to 0.0016% in children aged 9 and under.1

Over 164,000 people in the UK die from cancer every year15:

I can tell you over 100k have died in UK alone..Do you tell hospital specialists..your GP etc...they have it all wrong?can you tell me how many survive covid with chronic problems?
Are these the chronic problems like a heart attack that then get put down as a Covid statistic as soon as they die?

I thought you said the hospitals weren't busy?

Make up your mind boyo.
What are you talking about. The hospitals aren’t busy, learn to read
Thousands of people pay there taxes.
They pay there taxes in the hope should they need it the NHS would help them.
But are being refused treatment for things like cancer but if you have Covid the nhs will welcome you in.
You have between 95-98% chance of surviving if you catch Covid.

Even during busy periods, hospitals can have quieter spells. So a nurse for example might work 20 shifts and of those, 15 shifts might be over the line (in terms of staff being up against it) and 5 shifts might be within the line. It varies. It's not an exact science. However that doesn't mean the service isn't struggling to cope simply because some shifts are quieter.

I expect some of those on here could be asked to shadow a nurse in a busy hospital for x weeks and they'd still find a way to say 'the hospital was very quiet' because that fits with their agenda. You can present these people with data/trends from government, non government and independent departments and still they'll say 'nah, don't believe it.'

Covid's not real.
Hospital's aren't busy.
The 110,000 UK deaths attributed to covid weren't caused by covid, these people died of something else unrelated.
It's all a conspiracy to implement more societal control.
Bill Gates can now track our movements and 'reset' us.
The earth is undoubtedly flat.

etc etc. Aye, ok then, whatever you say.

National cancer day today. I will spare a thought to the thousands of people who are refused treatment because Covid is prioritised over everything.
Thousands of people who pay there taxes to have a NHS look after them but are being turned away.
Love to know who made that decision
DISGUSTING :(

My niece has said in Jan there were 300 hospitalised covid patients....to cope with them all, theyve had to take over operating theatres, childrens wards, acute wards, ICU.

If the UK didnt bother with a lockdown, the hospitals would be even more overloaded and that would result in even less availability for non covid treatment.

Can you tell me the percentage of people who have caught Covid and survived. Not the mainstream media’s number (or your number, but to be fair that’s were you get all your information from) the real number.

many have recovered.

A friend of my nieces, who work in the hospital is in her 20's she had covid, now she has breathing problems and heart issues and cant work full time.

it is very difficult to attribute deaths to a specific cause.

For speed of recording, the "die within 28 days" has been used as the criteria, its not perfect, but its proven methodology that has relevance.

its not the smoking gun you think it is.

the best indicator of what covid does to the population is to look at hospital admissions.

if someone says they know someone who says they know someone who works in a hospital who says they aren’t full then they must be lying

well you refuse to give the name of the hospital.

Sooey claimed the Royal Liverpool was empty, but I found reliable sources (clinical director for example) who said the hospital was struggling and staff under huge pressure

https://www.theguardian.com/society...ritical-care-beds-15-nhs-england-trusts-covid

Nearly 10% of English NHS trusts had no spare capacity for critical care patients in the final week of January, as Covid pressures continued to bite.

More than 5,000 critical care hospital beds were occupied every day from mid-January onwards, and at one point almost 2,000 more critical care beds were in use than at any point in the previous five winters, NHS England figures show.
Running out of critical care beds is very rare. Running out when you've got something like 1.5 -2.5 times as many as usual is unheard of in the history of the NHS.

Some have great difficulty realising that only a few % of the population have actually caught covid. Forget that and some numbers can be made to look less worse than they really are.

If the UK didnt bother with a lockdown, the hospitals would be even more overloaded and that would result in even less availability for non covid treatment.

Once overloaded another problem crops up. People who need hospital and don't get there finish up dead. No recoveries and the numbers rocket. We aren't very good at living very long with low oxygen levels in our blood and they don't have to drop much. It's already been noticed that when they are running at first peak levels deaths increase by 20% from when they can manage. Then deaths at home increase as well. All misinformation according to some who look at distorted figures generated by people who have made mistakes in there sums or are deliberately trying to mislead the gullible. Actually some posters on here may well be the very people that want to mislead others.

They now have more gear than they had in the first wave but not more people. All sorts are being used even dentists that are part way through training and others in a similar situation.

A hospital has been trialling a method to try and get people in at the right time. Seems it's going to be rolled out. People are given an oxygen monitor and take readings themselves. A nurse can monitor loads of people remotely all at the same time. This will save ambulance people checking it when they call and sometimes saying no your still ok and may recover. There is a fragility scale about which determines what treatment people will get. That probably gets used and seems to be in some cases anyway.

Clearly all a waste of time according to some. No need to train lots of people to give others jabs either.
