Who will win and by how many?

It was the will of the people not to change it so that's it for ever isn't it?
Its a good point.

Brexiteers talk about the referendum being the 'will of the people', but then claim the election was a referendum, wheras it was FPTP.

It seems will of the people only applies when it suits them.

It would be naive of Boris to think he could just crack on with Brexit and carry on for the next 5yrs without investing in the north and failing to respond to the trust placed in him by the ex-labour voters.
I do hope that Boris succeeds in delivering a Brexit which means what it says on the tin, and invests in the manufacturing/fishing heartlands of the north, and the agricultural centres of Wales/Scotland
Just imagine what could happen in 2024 if Boris is still considered 'popular'.
There are several constituencies retained by Labour this time round which are now considered 'marginals' and could easily turn 'blue' next time.

Looks impressive, but most of the blue areas are sparsely populated compared to the cities.
The Tories found a way to appeal to the city dwellers with Brexit.
If labour can find a way to appeal to the wealthy landowners and country folk they can swing it. The way thing are going, flooding might be a problem if the tories don't hurry up and fix our failing drainage system.

Looks like those in England get the worse deal (avg constituent sizes):
  • 72,200 in England
  • 67,200 in Scotland
  • 68,300 in Northern Ireland
  • 56,000 in Wales
