Why the left have lost

So today RR said

Speaking at a weekly meeting of the Parliamentary Labour Party, Reeves said: "Kick starting economic growth is this Labour government's number one mission because I do not believe low growth is our destiny.

"Will that growth come easy? No. There are no easy routes out.

"Over the past six months as chancellor, my experience is that government has become used to saying 'no'.

"That must change. We must start saying 'yes.'

"Yes, to new jobs. Yes, to higher living standards. Yes, to investment. And yes, to growth."

So what have you done RR.. nothing.

Let me spell it out to this bunch of incompetent CV fiddling amateurs

Tax Relief and Incentives for Small Businesses

  • Reduce Corporation Tax for SMEs: Lower the corporation tax rate for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to free up capital for reinvestment.
  • Temporary VAT Reduction: Introduce a temporary reduction in VAT for small businesses, particularly in sectors like hospitality, retail, and tourism, to stimulate consumer spending.
  • Business Rates Holiday: Extend or reintroduce business rates relief for small businesses, especially in high-street sectors struggling with rising costs.

Then we have Miliband the male alternative to Abacus.

An absolute fck turd wanting to block the 3rd runway at Heathrow, Ed you waste of space lets take a look at the other expanding economies:

Over the past decade, India's aviation sector has experienced significant growth. The number of operational airports has more than doubled, increasing from 74 in 2014 to 157 in 2024.

Press Information Bureau
This expansion includes both the construction of new airports and the modernization of existing facilities.

Looking ahead, India plans to further enhance its aviation infrastructure. The government aims to develop 50 additional airports in the next five years, with a long-term vision of establishing up to 200 new airports over the next two decades.

The Economic Times

China has also outlined ambitious plans for its aviation sector. The country intends to increase the total number of civil airports to over 450 by 2035, up from 254 in 2022. This expansion involves constructing approximately 200 new airports, averaging about 10 new airports per year.

The Sun

Other expanding economies are similarly investing in aviation infrastructure to support growth. For instance, Ethiopia has announced plans to build a new international airport near Addis Ababa. This facility is expected to become Africa's largest by 2029, featuring four runways and accommodating up to 100 million passengers annually.

The Irony

  • The UK, which accounts for just 1% of global emissions, is agonizing over the climate impact of a single runway, while countries like India and China are building hundreds of new airports with far less scrutiny.
  • The UK’s hesitation could harm its economy and global competitiveness, while other countries forge ahead with expansion, prioritizing growth over immediate climate concerns.
  • Critics might argue that the UK’s stance is symbolic rather than impactful, given that its emissions are a drop in the bucket compared to global giants like China and India.

Conclusion

While the UK’s commitment to reducing carbon emissions is commendable, the disproportionate focus on Heathrow’s third runway seems almost self-sabotaging when compared to the aggressive airport expansion in other parts of the world. If global emissions are the concern, perhaps the UK should focus more on international collaboration and innovation (like sustainable aviation fuels or carbon capture) rather than stifling its own growth while others race ahead.

The left haven’t lost.

everybody who is not a millionaire has lost.

Anybody whose wages have stagnated for 15 years….has lost
Anybody who can’t afford to buy a house…..has lost
Anybody who is one of the 8 million waiting for NHS….has lost
Anybody who is suffering because of cuts to public services….has lost
Anybody who finds the cost of energy too much…..has lost
Anybody who is one of the 750,000 who can’t work because of waiting for NHS….has lost.

That’s far far far larger group than just the left

They are populists, not businessmen

Both are the wealthy establishment, they work on behalf of the wealthy and against the interests of ordinary citizens.

I expect you voted for Brexit…..that damaged the UK

I expect you voted for Boris Johnson who put a border between GB and NI breaking up the United Kingdom

I expect you support Reform now: Farage is a Belgium citizen, Tice and partner have moved to Dubai
Absolute crap. Yes to the last 3, which obviously makes you Loonie Lefty Looser.

Is that the India that is an emerging economy

If so then it’s a pointless comparison

I am capable of critical thought, which is why I do not support Farage or Trump

you are not capable of critical thought and you fall for the Reform party blaming foreigners for the problems in this country

they say a picture paints a 1000 words, this descibes exactly how youve been duped:
